SUPPLYING ART ON DISK
FONTS: All fonts used (even those used in an EPS file) must be included on the disk. Unless you are using Truetype fonts, you must include both the printer AND screen versions of each font.
NEGATIVES: Please call us at 41-662-0112 if you plan on supplying us film negatives for your project.
COLORS: CMYK Process colors should be used for all of the record jacket art which is to be separated to negatives. Due to the fact that monitors use an RGB method to display colors but full color offset printing uses a CMYK method, the colors shown on your monitor will differ from the colors of your print job. Not all monitors are calibrated correctly to accurately compensate for CMYK color shifts. If you are especially concerned about precise color matching, please contact us about your needs in advance.
DISKS: We accept files on the following disk types only: Zip 100 and 250, Recordable CD-R, and 1.4mb Floppies only. Mac or PC discs are both acceptable. Other types of media like EZ Syquest and Jaz discs may incur a transfer charge, so please call in advance.
COLOR PROOFS: A color proof of some type must be included with your disk unless your art is black and white only, in which case a B&W print will be OK. Without a color proof, we will have no idea what your file should look like when correctly opened and cannot accept responsiblilty for missing or altered information without sending a proof to you for approval (at your expense and causing an increase in length of time to process your order).
