OUR VINYL PRODUCTION TIME HAS RETURNED TO NORMAL. We now offer LIGHTNING TURNAROUND AS FAST AS 4.5-6.5 WEEKS ON ECONOMY ORDERS IN QTYS 50-200). Due to materials cost increases and transport issues there is currently a per-unit surcharge of (+39¢/ea on all vinyl 7″ orders. A $29/side surcharge on 7″ lacquer cutting for standard turn orders will also apply.

All stock colors can be pressed as opaque or translucent. For CUSTOM COLOR vinyl, specify a CMYK or Pantone color in your order notes or ask for help on color selection after your order has been placed. Be aware that color matching is not exact.

on this page you can order vinyl record pressing for 7″ single.  These vinyl records will be manufactured on a new warmtone press, using virgin vinyl, to ensure we can produce the most audiophile vinyl possible.  Just one of the reasons we are a favorite vinyl pressing service.  The process starts with expert lacquer cutting in a state of the art studio on a fully restored Neumann lathe.

Our standard color and weight for 7″ Vinyl  – Record Pressing is black vinyl at 45G weight, but we also offer upgrades to many varieties of color vinyl. Upgrade color options are: white vinyl, clear vinyl, translucent colors (red, green, yellow, blue), custom/opaque colors (anything we can make by mixing our standard colors together), and metallic vinyl (silver or gold). For custom color requests, please provide us with either a pantone number or a jpeg or other color sample (CMYK mode recommended for best matching accuracy).

Our Vinyl 7″ Record Pressing process starts with cutting 7″ lacquers on a pristinely restored Neumann lathe, after an audio review of the mastered audio to ensure a high fidelity transfer to the vinyl format. From there, the lacquers are converted to stampers  using a 2,3, or 5 step process depending on quantity.  The stampers created are what we use to manufacture both your test pressings (if applicable), and the final record order, once approved.

Subject to the limitations of the vinyl format itself, our goal is to produe a record that sounds as good as the audio source provided (or better when possible), audiophile quality if we have a proper source.  Our insistence on using the conventional lacquer process is to be sure that our results are better than the inferior DMM (direct metal mastering) process that some budget vinyl plants use to cut corners.
